London

– Why are you visiting London?

– I want to see one of the oldest European cities : feel the culture, explore British heritage, get to know more about the history and society, go to galleries, meet people behind the great inventions

– Sure, hurry up, because everything will vanish soon and will remain in the pictures only.

Modern Art is Fake

I believe that the primary purpose of art is to raise one’s feelings to a higher level and encourage a person to strive for something more, make a positive contribution towards the society. Art must be a ‘beauty’. Considering modern art & galleries filled in with piles of ‘rubbish’ claiming that this is ‘the Arts’ makes me wonder if people actually can not tell the difference between the craft & fake anymore?

Wasting Time for Nothing?

Only the time spent on mastering a skill is not wasted. A person is able to pass on his knowledge to others and positively contribute to a development of the society.

‘I am Dandy: The Return of the Elegant Gentleman’ BOOK LAUNCH IN LONDON

'I am Dandy: The Return of the Elegant Gentleman' BOOK LAUNCH IN LONDON

‘I am Dandy: The Return of the Elegant Gentleman’ Book by Rose Callahan (Author, Editor) & Nathaniel Adams (Editor) is clearly in the top of my Christmas wish list!

I visited the book launch in London that took place in Gieves & Hawkes Shop on the Savile Row. It was such an amazing & inspirational evening.

One could sit and stare all night at all these flamboyant dandies!

I wonder why?

I wonder why?

If one would pay $40 for a barber to cut hair why not pay a craftsman $50 to hand-knit a hat? Hat would last you years

Strange Wolrd

I do not understand most of the people, I guess fast fashion has ruined the majority’s understanding about quality & long-lasting products.

1. I tend to visit charity shops & avoid high street shops.

Reason why? I believe in good fabric and quality. I would rather wear the same outfit for a couple of years not polluting & creating fashion waste every season

2. I see clothing as investment & not something that you will through away after 3 month of wearing. Actually, buying fashion products one would spend more than getting a good quality piece. Because fashion does not last long.
